While this is okay in some aspects, it can result in your teenager having the desire to spend a lot of money on clothes and jewelry. However, the latest trends can be disconcerting such as baggy pants showing boxers or low cut shirts that show too much cleavage. Unfortunately, these are the latest popular fashion trends. Most people are concerned about their child displaying them. So what do you do?

When it comes to fashion trends that are unusual, you may be considering laying down the law. As a parent, you certainly have the right to do this. But you may want to consider that this may actually end up causing more damage. The teenage years can be very difficult. Also, keep in mind that fashion is trendy and ever changing. What may be popular today may not be popular tomorrow. It is not unusual for a fashion trend to only last a month or so. If you are unhappy with the current trends, but your teenagers are, you may want to help them explore other options.

There are a multitude of fashion magazines and fashion websites that list fashion trends and current information on what is �in� and what is �not.� Depending on your choice of style, not all fashion trends require the wearing of low cut, short clothes. Take the time to explore all of your options. The trends may be �hot� today but �cold� tomorrow. So you are better off choosing more classic styles which will withstand the test of time.
